No decorative or repair works to the property will be carried out after a heating installation, including any boxing in of pipe work and or flues unless previously agreed in our estimate. If any carpets are lifted, you may have to arrange for them to be re-stretched at your own expense. If you want us to remove old installations (such as boilers, radiators, sanitary-ware), a skip or scrap collection may be required. Unless stated, this is not included in the estimate.
Please note: if you require us to carry out boxing-in, tiling, or decoration around new installations this can be done to your specification. Please ask for a separate estimate.
POWER FLUSHING:
If Power Flushing is required, then the following terms and conditions apply:
Prior to a new boiler being installed, the existing pipe work and radiators should be “Power Flushed” to remove as much sludge from the system as is possible so as not to invalidate the guarantee on the boiler. The process of Power Flushing has a risk on older systems of causing leaks in pipe work and radiators as the sludge sometimes seals up small pit holes that is then removed revealing the leaks in the system. Every care will be taken when carrying out the Power Flushing such as using non aggressive chemicals. Any leaks in the pipe work that become present will be fixed by us and also any leaking radiators will be replaced by us at extra cost to you should you wish, but in both cases Plumbsafe (UK) Ltd accept no responsibility for any damage to the fabric of the building, or any of the contents contained within it, including any decoration, carpets, electrical appliances, any appliances, fixtures or fittings etc.
MISCELLANEOUS:

Delays caused by your other trades: (Usually applicable to building sites or property renovations etc) When booking a date with us, it is our intention to commence and complete the works concurrently, if however completion is held up by your other workmen, for example; areas not being ready to hang radiators, no electricity, no gas, etc. then an additional invoice at our standard hourly rate will be issued for time wasted unless we have previously agreed a timetable for a first and second or final fix.
Delays caused by us: On the rare occasion our engineer / plumber is unfortunately ill or has an accident or due to other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control we will contact you in the first instance and a new date or time will be agreed as soon as is practicable.
